On the 18th February I’ll be giving a talk on the Birds of the Arabian Peninsula for the International Association for the Study of Arabia, at the Institute for Archaeology, UCL (WC1H 0PY). The talk will look at the diverse range of birds that breed, migrate through, and winter in the Arabian Peninsula. Arabia is home to a number of endemic birds as well as a wide-range of desert adapted species.
The talk is given on behalf of the Ornithological Society of the Middle East, Central Asia and the Caucasus (OSME): more details of their work here

The talk starts at 17.45, is free and all are welcome.
